Wonderful Service, delicious food, excellent atmosphere! My girlfriend and I came here for brunch and we were warmly greeted. We were quickly attended to, and our server made recommendations based on our poor knowledge of the menu which were very helpful! The food is very unique and we have not seen anything like it in the area. We will be back!
Drove in from out of town (with my wife) to scout the river for fishing conditions. Decided to try this well reviewed restaurant for a late lunch. I had a draught beer and it was really good. For food we ordered Cabbage Rolls, Varenyky (Pierogies), and the Potato Pancakes. All three dishes were amazing. We loved them. The photos don’t do the food justice. The service was excellent and the server super friendly. For the quality of the food the prices were reasonable. No doubt we’ll be back, even though it is out of the way for us.
I visited Lviv Ukrainian Restaurant in Port Hope today for breakfast, and I am so glad I did. The experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. I had a fresh, delicious poppyseed pastry, along with other bakery items, and a perfectly made cappuccino. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. One of the best parts of my visit was the amazing service I received from Tania. She was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. Tania went out of her way to make sure I felt welcome and comfortable, and her positive attitude created such a great atmosphere in the restaurant. It’s rare these days to meet someone who brings so much enthusiasm and kindness to their work, and I truly appreciated it. After such a fantastic breakfast, I am already excited to come back and try their lunch and dinner options, as the rest of their menu looks outstanding. If their other meals are anything like breakfast, I know I’m in for a treat. Lviv Ukrainian Restaurant is an absolute gem in Port Hope, with authentic and delicious Ukrainian food, and incredible staff who go the extra mile to make guests feel at home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience — and don’t forget to say hello to Tania!
The coffee and pastries here are truly amazing! I recommend mushroom cheese bread and ham cheese bread. You will never regret it. Soo good! This place is one of the best bakeries in Port Hope.

Came by for a quick coffee and meal while visiting family in Port Hope. Will definitely be back. Our server was friendly and warm. We ordered a couple pastries (hamcheese and chickencheese) and the pierogis to share. The pastries are extremely generous and a bit on the heavier side. Worth the 10 though! The food was outstanding and the cappuccino I ordered was a pretty, tasty, frothy monstrosity I’d drink every single day if I could. Overall a fantastic little gem. A must try!
My wife and I had a wonderful lunch experience here! The food was genuinely delcious, but even better was the service! Incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming! Our server was so sweet and lovely. Place looked awesome inside and out, 5/5 will definitely go again! The cabbage rolls are INSANELY good, and the best Khachapuri I've ever had.
